 The most recent Oil Paintings by James Clevenger Martin 2020mis an Art Exhibition presented by Ginger & James Martin at Restaurant 13 on Crown Mountain Road in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands. James Martin is a Licensed Professional Architect & Interior Designer that designs, builds, develops, and manages Luxury Rental Villas at Estate St. Peter at Mountain Top and in Estate Harmony in St Thomas. Besides being an accomplished architect and designer, James produces oil paintings, bronze sculptures, faux finishes, trompe-l’oeil illusions and scagliola faux marbles. James developed his artist painting talents as a Graduate Teaching Assistance in Graduate School in 1968 and has taught color theory in Community Colleges in Texas, and attended the School of Visual Art, Parson Design School and The Sculpture Studio in New York City and Fresco & Scagliola Work Shops in Ceri, Italy. James started teaching watercolor classes to local artist that need additional artist training in Color, Composition and Painting Techniques. James has conducted art classes to selected students in the beginning development of Oil Painting in St Thomas since 2002. The current Original 2020 Oil paintings at the New Restaurant 13 were created this year during the COVID-19 Island shut down and is part of a collection of Classic Detailed Nautical Sailing Ships, Caribbean Beaches, Boats and Tango & Flamenco Dancers. Future Exhibits will include the extremely popular RODEO COLLECTION. Most painting are FOR SALE and range from $1,500 to $5,000 depending on size 16”x 20” to 24” x 36” (frame/ unframed), quality (linen/canvas) and professional framing requirements.
